Cops get taste of road rage
The Chandigarh Police today arrested two persons on the charges of attacking its bus ferrying prisoners at Piccadilly Chowk following an incident of road rage involving the bus driver and a motorcyclist.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred around 4 pm when the police bus, which was coming from Sector 35, brushed with a motorcycle at Piccadilly Chowk. The motorcyclist, who was coming from the Kisan Bhavan Chowk side, however, managed to control his vehicle. He was on his way to Sector 35 and claimed that he had moved following a green signal while the bus driver jumped the signal.

Principal Secy’s son beaten up
The son of a senior Punjab bureaucrat was left with a perforated ear membrane in an incident of road rage in the city last night. The incident reportedly took place around 8.30 pm on the road separating Sectors 4 and 9 when a group of youngsters travelling in two cars attacked the 25-year-old son of DS Guru, Principal Secretary to the Punjab Chief Minister.

Road rage triggers group clash in Sohna
In yet another frightening instance of road rage, one person was left brain dead and six others injured in Sohna on Monday night. Three cars - a Tata Safari, a Scorpio and a Maruti Swift - were set afire as well by a mob. While doctors at Paras Hospital declared 42-year-old Bilal Khan brain dead, dairy owner Dinesh (25) suffered bullet injuries on his leg.

Blueline driver fires at another for overtaking
A Blueline bus driver opened fire at another Blueline driver who overtook him and then fired at policemen on Delhi-Noida border today, but no one was injured in the bizarre case of road rage.

The erring driver, identified as Luv, was overpowered but not before he dumped the offending weapon into a gutter, police said.

4 held for chasing couple
In an incident of road rage in the Capital, four drunken men allegedly chased a couple over five km after a minor car accident. The police arrested the four and later released them on bail.
The incident took place on Monday night when Jagdeep Singh, 40, a resident of Greater Kailash area of south Delhi, was returning home along with his wife Gagan and a six-year-old son in their car from Model Town.

Road Rage - Engineer burnt alive over Rs 50
In a heartrending incident of road rage, a young engineer was set afire by three unidentified occupants of a truck on the GT Road here today.

The victim was first beaten up and then set on fire after he refused to pay Rs 100 for taking lift in the truck. The victim, Ajit Singh, who was spotted by a PCR patrol van at 2 am near a banquet hall, was immediately rushed to the primary health centre, Samalkha, with severe burn injuries.

IAF officer stabbed near Kasauli
An Indian Air Force fighter pilot lost his life in an incident of road rage near Kasauli on Friday evening.

Flt Lt Anubhav Roy, 24, was stabbed by Hari Dass Tanwar, a Kasauli lawyer after a row over parking. The officer succumbed to injuries on way to Command Hospital, Chandimandir while the lawyer has been arrested for murder. The incident took place just a kilometre short of Kasauli when Flt Lt Roy and Samir Yadav � Sukhoi pilots posted at Ambala Air Force station � and their two friends from Delhi were on way to Kasauli while returning from Shimla.
